Living From the Heart of Buddhism: A Study of the Four Noble Truths

Thursday, Apr 30 to Sunday, May 3 (3 nights)

Please note this does not include dana.

This retreat will focus on a practical and applicable understanding of the Four Nobel Truths and the Eight-Fold Path. Sometimes called the Four Ennobling Truths implies that this core teaching of the Buddha inspires an engagement with life in ways that open our hearts and turn our minds towards an understanding of suffering – and its role in cultivating wisdom, compassion, love and the joy – all the qualities of an awakened mind.

The daily schedule will establish a contemplative environment that will generally be held in Noble Silence. It will include time for dharma study, discussion, formal sitting and walking meditation and evening dharma talk.
