The Buddhist Insight Network is a great place to start or continue your search for a local sitting group, retreat, and information and inspiration about a form of Buddhism rooted in the original teachings of the Buddha, compiled in the Pali Canon.

While all Buddhist schools have the same roots and core teachings, they vary in focus, practices, emphasis, and culture.

So we invite you to visit a local sitting group, called a sangha, and see if it feels like a homecoming.

If you find several groups in your area, try them all. If there are none, you might find a group that meets on Zoom.
